Stick it out at current job until application submission?

Hello,

I'm a newbie here looking for advice/opinions (hopefully this is in the right forum!)

I currently work in a Global 100 law firm as a legal assistant in the IP/Patents field. Initially out of college I was looking to get some experience and then proceed to law school, (graduated with a BA, double majoring in Political Science and History) but after almost 6 years in the field, I decided that law school/the legal field just isn't my top choice (especially the uncertainty in the legal field
