Chances of coming back to IT with MBA degree

I am having 3 years of exp in IT. I would like to do my MBA and most importantly, would like to return back to IT field itself. Is that possible? If I do complete my MBA, what positions do IT companies absorb one(IT-3 yrs exp+MBA) for?
